James Rhodes (Of Counsel)
Attorney James Rhodes's primary area of practice is in campaign compliance and strategic consulting for boards of directors in the non-profit and for-profit sectors. His current cases range from campaign consulting to business organizational development.
Jamie is a member of the RI and MA Bar Associations and a member of the RI Energy and Environment Committee of the Bar Association. He serves as President of the Environment Council of Rhode Island and is also employed as the Rhode Island State Director for Clean Water Action and Clean Water Fund.
Jamie graduated cum laude from Roger Williams University School of Law. At school he was Treasurer for the Association for Public Interest Law and the Democratic Law Students Association. He was a student organizer of the Robert M. Cover Retreat in 2011. He completed public service projects with the Sojourner House, a Rhode Island domestic violence agency, Marriage Equality Rhode Island and the Disaster Accountability Project. During school he worked as an administrative assistant to the non-profit Ocean State Action. He also worked as field director on the David Segal for Congress campaign in 2010.
Outside The Law Office
Much of Jamie's time outside of work is spent as dad to his young son, Nathan. As a resident of Warwick, they get to enjoy bike rides along Rocky Point and kayak adventures on the open Bay. He also enjoys his part-time job as a referee for the start-up professional ultimate frisbee league, Major League Ultimate, spending many Saturday nights of the spring under the lights working the home matches in Boston.
